I went to Japan on an Artist Residency
In 2022 I was lucky enough to be able to travel to Japan before the borders opened (crazy how long ago lockdowns seem now!) to undertake a six week artist residency in the countryside of Gunma prefecture, Japan with seven other artists from around the world.
Coming up this October for Craft Contemporary
I am excited to announce that I will be part of two group exhibitions this October as part of Craft Victoria’s 2022 Craft Contemporary festival line up.
Craft Contemporary (1–31 October) is Craft Victoria’s annual festival amplifying the practice of craft in a state-wide gathering of talks, live demonstrations, exhibitions and more. Contemporary expressions of craft are explored within gallery, retail, educational and public spaces, calling attention to its ubiquitous and engaging presence.
How It Went: Craft Contemporary Virtual Open Studios 2021
I was lucky enough to be part of the Craft Contemporary Virtual Open Studios on October 16th hosted by Craft Victoria. This was so much fun and because it was an online event, it gave me the opportunity to connect to a wider audience and share my studio space and practice.
Craft Contemporary 2021 Virtual Open Studio
I’m very excited to announce that I am part of Craft Victoria’s Virtual Open Studio line up as part of the Craft Contemporary Festival 2021! Join me in the (virtual) studio on October 16th at 11am!
Back In Action
After a very unpredictable 2020 and a slightly rocky start to 2021, I am happy to be back and active in the Melbourne ceramics community (and broader Australian ceramics community) again. After quite a long break I’m so excited to share that in addition to expanding and developing my personal practice, I am now hosting hand building workshops around Melbourne and I can’t wait to share my knowledge and skills with you all.
